Blast cleaning to Sa 2.5 grade of international standard to ISO 8501/1: 1988 is the only satisfactory method of preparing steel surfaces. Manual or mechanical chipping, scraping, and wire brushing to St - 3 grade of international standard is recommended only where blast cleaning is not feasible.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTION
Thinner consumption may vary depending upon site conditions. Practical covering capacity depends on application techniques, ambient conditions, wastage, surface condition etc. Surface temperature must be 3oC above Dew Point to prevent condensation.
